3M Canada is an awesome place to work, if you have an excellent team and work with co-workers who support you and want to help you grow and be successful in your position then you're on Cloud 9. The only draw back is when you get stuck in a group where the Business Manager is new to even being able to managing and favours certain employees. You can try your hardest in this group and still get bullied about your views and opinions. Work life balance does not exist, cause it all comes down to numbers, and constantly working out prices for customers just to make a simple sale. In a normal operating company you have a set sale price and a set distributor price - this is not existent at 3M Canada. Who heard of 100 of different selling prices for one SKU...leave it to 3M to do that. When a company says that HR has your back against your supervisor or manager if you have problems, that does not exist at 3M. The reporting Managers are like gods there and you can fight all you want to prove yourself right, but you will still lose. Its sad because the company is great with the products they have to sell. But to be honest, its not worth moving to London for this company in the Long Run...save yourself from getting grey hair cause it wont come with any rewards.

"3M Canada is an awesome place to work"? Work a few more months and you will change that statement. It is up to the manager to be a great leader that is willing to take action and admit mistakes. I have worked in serveral industries and it is the same bullsh--. The people that have the power don't contribute and are NOT great leaders. They are sell outs. Anything to make them look good and to point the finger when issues arise. Managers must lead and not play favorites. There are not a lot of managers that are great leaders. All are spineless a--holes.
