Overall not too bad of a place to work. A lot of gossip and office politics. Most staff are lazy seeing as it's a unionized environment. Management needs some improvement. Too many hens in the house! Not much value placed on staff taking abusive calls all day. Always cold in the call centre. Freezing environment 24/7/365. Be prepared to dress for winter all year round. Pros would be the union, salary is good, shifts are reasonable and you can work your rotation well with vacation days to get 5-6 weeks off a year. OT is usually available. Pension/benefit contributions however are WAY too high.
