• I've worked at the management level and i have a bachelors degree and an executive MBA and am trilingual. All the higher ups didn't even go to university and have 0 business acumen. The most unprofessional leadership I've ever encountered. I was let go because i often disagreed with their mentality and even when firing someone, they did it so wrong that it was so easy for me to sue and win my case. • Horrible leadership, high % of employees on stress leave, high customer dissatisfaction. high error rate, HR turns blind eye to executive violation of employee rights. Those who work here should quit and those considering working here should run in the opposite direction. If customers knew what happens behind the curtain here, they would leave too. Don’t believe the professsional marketing spin or the charm the execs present to the outside world. The labour board should take a close look. For an organization that claims to be the experts in managing payroll and HR you are failing miserably. • Terrible management with zero vision and constant infighting. Bullying and unethical behaviour is widespread. Execs hire their friends and work their employees until they burn out and quit.

• I worked for ADP for 2 years and it's definitely a great place to learn payroll. However, turnover is high due to workload or because they focus more on customer service rather than hiring someone who actually has more experience in payroll. If you want to be in payroll then ADP is the right place for you but be prepared for a highly fast paced environment. One of the main complains in my particular dept was that you had employees in data entry who did not seem to understand what they're doing yet they've been in the same position for a number of years. You also have the data entry clerks who manage to avoid work and make argue with the account owners on how to do their job.
  
  Benefits are good compared to other companies I've worked for. ADP is the only company I know who covers their part time employees.
  
  ADP wasn't all negative in my experience, I definitely learned a lot and would recommend it to anyone wanting to grow and learn.

• The company pays well for people with no apparent skill but with the connection. You will find a lot of staff tipping the high end of the pay scale only because they are there long enough or they know someone at high places.
  
  The company provides no training and with absolutely no intention to invest in improving employee skill.
  
  Managers in the IT area are poorly educated for their jobs and with very little people skill. Employee with talent and constructive suggestions are treated as a threat and will certainly be removed from the company at all cost.

• ADP is a great place to work. I'm proud of the company and to be part of a professional, hard-working team who's primary concern is the experience of our customer. Investments in product, technology, training and development outpace our competitors several times over. • Management disconected from reality, local management donare wrong, ADP rip them off with high bills and low service. High level of stress and they force you to take your laptop home in case the company needs you to work from home but not when you need to do it. On the other hand training has improved, workspace is good, the coworkers make all the difference, engaged employees not with the company but with the clients. • I realize (as a current employee here) that the grass is always greener. I promise you that this company is, however, highly over-rated in corporate reviews. When you talk to an employee here, you'll be met with someone who has given all they can and still gets run down day to day. I've been watching this for a number of years throughout all departments. It's sad, and very unfortunate. The management is not in sync. Goals are not attainable based on the Canadian market. Ethics are not what they should be. Negative re-enforcement is commonplace. I know for a fact sales is struggling due to the poor system that's been established. Turnover is getting quicker and quicker all the time.
  The thing is, ADP is an amazing, innovative and smart company. ADP Canada is a broken house of cards built on archaic systems.

• This company is horrible!! Management has no consideration for their employees unless you like to kiss up. The work life balance is poor as they expect you to work ridiculous hours..training is non existent. Some people have been working their for quite some time and manage to understand how to avoid work. The talented folks seem to keep leaving. • Over 20 years with this company and it gets worse every year . They have no work life balance and highest LTD rates in the industry because of stress related illnesses and workload expectations. • Incompetent management and HR group, offshoring of jobs, low compensation not consistent with market norms, high churn of employees, 16 hour workdays including weekends expected with no paid O/T, very top heavy, does not value innovation, knowledge or intelligence (line employees more educated and skilled than management). It used to be a great place to work but as of the last 5 years, it has grown progressively worse due to bad leadership, poor product offerings and even poorer decisions. Client service is no longer largely in Canada but is now centred in India and the Philippines. • ADP is one of the worst companies I have ever worked for. They expect you to work for nothing; unpaid overtime is expected. They don't care about your personal/family life - the machine MUST run.. at all times. They've terminated so many tenured employees and replaced them with uneducated and unskilled foreign workers in their big plan to "offshore" the tedious tasks. These foreign workers are pathetic and do a terrible job. They make the jobs of the actual Canadian employees 100 times more difficult. There is so much stress and no morale. Everyone is miserable. Upper Management only cares about the bottom line and how much money they can hose from their clients using outdated and poorly created software. • this company is not perfect. they have their short coming like all. However, you have a lot of rope to be creative. • Company is transforming. Lots of changes and new hires. Everyone very dedicated and lots of teamwork. Busy place. You need to be able to multitask to be successful. Everyone is positive. There are some that are negative but you find those people everywhere. If you don't like your job, leave. • It is truly one of the worst companies as I have seen and by the comments here. No wonder they have the well known name of Axxxxxxxxx D(oing) P(ayroll). • Company is going through major changes to improve processes and service. All the changes were necessary and long overdue. Brought in new seasoned leaders to drive change. • Piètre ambiance de travail. Ne respecte pas les normes du travail. S'attendent à ce que les petits salariés fassent des heures supplémentaires non-rémunérées. Des injustices ont lieu et on réprimande publiquement les employés qui osent parler de ce qui ne va pas. • From my experience (having been with the company for five years), The last two years have been tough. With normal turn-over, associates were not replaced as quickly as they should have been. Thus leading to a heavy work load for us, and long wait times for our client... it has been tough...
  
  Being a realist, I see it like this; All relationships whether they are personal or professional or otherwise have ups and downs. ADP made its mistakes, realized it mistakes, and is working to correct them - We've already seen changes in 2012 (especially since our recent addition to upper management)
  
  I'd love to say ADP is perfect, but it's not. However, it is getting back to where it was 5 years ago when I started.
