Work in head office downtown. The managers work to behave in alignment with the values and culture- the new High Voltage program is unique and fun. I get consistent feedback on my work and get help most times if I need it. What we do matters to the Alberta electrical grid- everyone I talk to has a sense of this. While there are team silos, they don't have barbed wire around them- you can talk with and collaborate with other groups as needed. Time off is very reasonable as is the pay. Isolated incidents of micro-managing leaders, but they are the minority. I would recommend AESO to anyone.
