Hands down one of the worst companies I have ever had the misfortune of working for. This company cares about one thing only; keeping labour costs to an absolute minimum. They cram you shoulder to shoulder into cramped vans with dangerous, ill-trained drivers and truck you across the province like chattel. Once you're on-site you'll be given barely enough time to unpack before having to handle not only your work-load, but most of what was left from the person you're covering for. The work load is often brutal, with 9 hrs of work having to be done in 8 hrs. I was abused by both management and clients alike, from rude behaviour, blatent disrespect, etc. Oh did I mention you'll be asked to work for free if more work is required to get done? Yes you read that right. Our chefs routinely worked 12-14 hrs while only being paid for 9. Same went for housekeeping staff. Bottom line is, you'll be brought in and worked to the bone for horrible wages until you either get sick of it and walk, or they terminate you. This revolving door process works for Aramark since there's an un-ending supply of people desperate for any kind of work. The problem is their reputation for treating hard-working, loyal employees like 2nd class citizens is starting to grow. They refuse to pay wages necessary to attract and retain good employees. I was there for 8 months before getting sick of all the BS. If this company had any sense of social responsibility, it would be ashamed of itself. Don't work there unless you're really desperate.
