Bank of Canada

Size of company: Large (More than 500 employees)

Industry: Bank, Insurance, Financial services

  • The Bank of Canada, which should be a well-functioning organization, is actually quite dysfunctional. The leaders at the top seem lost and unable to make good decisions. This confusion trickles down, making everyone feel uncertain about their work.

Most employees are just going through the motions, waiting for opportunities elsewhere. The Bank's different departments work separately, hardly communicating or cooperating. People don't feel motivated to come up with new ideas, and overall morale is low.

Another big problem is the lack of accountability. Mistakes are often ignored, and nobody takes responsibility for them.

In summary, the Bank of Canada may seem prestigious, but it's facing serious problems. The leaders are ineffective, the staff are uninspired, and there's a lot of work needed to fix these issues and restore the organization's reputation.

I was reading the latest comments on here and agree, don’t waste time with this organization that pays for its Top 100 ranking.
