  • I worked here for just over a year in Vancouve,B.C. and the management doesn't know what they are doing, if you are part-time you were told that you have to work every weekend and then found out later that i didn't so i told my manager no more weekends , then the less hours you got and they hired someone who would work weekends so i got transfered to another store and wasn't called for more than 5 weeks to let me know where i was going, the office staff are totally crazy never return your calls and don't give you your paperwork when it is asked for.Unless you totally kiss *#@^ you get know where in this Company, so i found a full time job and left them high and dry, wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has kids because you will never see them on the weekend at all. Miserable Management that doesn't speak to you when they come to the store waits until they leave and then phones you. Will never go back to this Company.

I wasn't minimum wage i had a skill that the Company needed and was paid very well, i only had to work 4 days a week and in the beginning it was fine but when the management starts to threaten you you begin to wonder if they will keep you or just toss you aside and yes Canada isn't like it was before all the Company's got cheap labour and years of training was thrown out the window .

Well as a minimum wage employee don`t expect that any employer in Canada will treat you well. It is the same for all companies that do security, groceries, janitorial....You will be just disposable things. Too bad. I think that Canada is not anymore country that it was years ago.
