I joined the Forces after lossing my job as a Logger in BC Back in 1999. I joined the Army then moved over the the Air Force. I have two deployments to Afghanistan. This career is not for everyone, but the pride and joy of being who we are and doing what we do out weight the negative. If you are thinking of joining: Good. Just do your homework, figure out what you want to do and then go for it. And do settle for something else they offer. If you have ever wondered why the old vet's go down to the legion every friday, it will all make perfect sense once you are in; Camaraderie is something that is often initiated, never duplicated. Like any thing.... caveat emporium
