  • The vision for the Network seemed promising at first, until poor communication, changing job descriptions, and conflicting directions started. There is no strong leadership and management keeps “constructively terminating” employees instead of addressing the above issues. The incredibly high turnover rate cannot be attributed to poor employee poor performance alone or normal stress “burn-out” in this field. The pay is also incredibly low for the amount of work expected of staff and the quality expected of that work. There is no overtime paid and if you do work “overtime,” it’s banked as straight time and can only be used with permission. Even that requires permission to be worked, which is sometimes difficult in this line of work. This organization would benefit from an HR manager who could tidy-up these issues and help both management and employees.
