Worked for the company for over 2 years. On my last day, after a months notice, my manager didn't say A WORD to me. No thank you, no take care, no kiss my ass. Management does not give 2 shits about their employees whether they are new or old, it all comes down to making money. Not valued as an individual w certain skills/places of interest, if you're good at something, even if you are dead sick of it, good luck getting away from it. Have fun being a cashier, cause when you call for assistance to cash cause the line is Hella long and you're the only one on a till, the abundance of floor staff lurking in the corners on their cell phones are sure to ignore you, management does not MANAGE them so they do whatever the hell they want. Good workers seem to have little value to the company and the useless ones get all the freedom. Loved the concept of working for Chapters and w books/the gift product, but employee consideration and recognition is next to non existent. You get more appreciation for a job well done at Walmart!
