You are a small cog in a big machine. Disposable, easily replaced, and cheap. Management only does the bare minimum for the employees, on all fronts. Constant lip service, little in the way of meaningful, positive changes to the work environment. Advancement prospects almost nil. Benefits low. You start hopeful, but as pressure increaes and neglect sets in, the work environment degrades your spirit until you leave, then new hires are brought in and the cycle repeats.
