The pay is great, LOVE my hours and weekends off (plus EDOs). I love my department, co-workers are friendly, and management is always helpful and approachable. Lots of opportunities for advancement. Wish they would hire more permanent employees rather then temps though, that is pretty much my biggest complaint. Life is GOOD at the city, when you have scored a permanent position. :)

Not always true, it all depends where you work, who your boss is and who your coworkers are.Sometimes the most competent people can have a hard time working there when those who suck up to management get promotions even if they are incompetent.
