Ive been working in this field for 20 years and it has never been as bad as it is since EORLA took over. Morale is horrible, the people doing your lab tests are stressed to the max. understaffed and miserable. People are leaving EORLA if they can, leaving pensions behind and leaving their careers because EORLA is killing them. Managers are given raises and shifts are cut for the workers leaving others to pick up the slack. Layoffs every year since its inception and still they can't turn a profit. Management is unresponsive to employee needs and requests. The hospitals have written the labs off and are unwillng to pay for anything including basic housekeeping and maintenence so lab conditions are dirty and unkept because EORLA won't pay either. I would never recommend this employer to anyone but my worst enemy.
