Worst corporate job ever. They treat you like a number and try to brainwash you into believe gap is more important than anything else. They claim family first, then refuse to schedule important dates off and consciously vary your days off to keep your "schedule open". On that note, schedules come out often only 2 days in advance. Try calling employee services for anything...on hold for HOURS, and often still dont' resolve the issue. I've been trying to get an ROE for 3 months, and literally no one will respond to emails or voice messages (the HR mailbox is full). The actual work is like mcdonalds, but more boring. The discounts are the same as customers get on sale. They actively cut peoples hours to keep them from getting full time and benefits. There are no windows in most stores. They will fire you for small offences (they treat employees like cattle). The good; there is tons of room for advancement because if you don't "drink the kool aid", all smart/talented people leave. They will give you just a few hours a week if that is what you want. They pay is slightly better than fast food... Don't work there. Go literally anywhere but the Gap. They are going out of business.
