Quite possibly the worst company one could ever work for. After over 2 years of working there, I was still treated like a 5 year old from management. The hours are ridiculous, and hardly ever do they put more than 1 person on the floor at a time. This results in a lot of angry customers screaming at you because you can't help them all, and managers seeing this as your fault as apparently you should be able to replicate yourself and help everyone all at once. Management will sit in their back room for hours just talking to each other and not doing any work, but if they catch you speaking to another sales associate for even 10 seconds, be prepared to get yelled at. I faced numerous nights of going home in tears, after incidents such as being reamed out for stealing money from a till, which then ended up being a counting error on the managements part, and never even got so much as an appology. I could go on and on, but I will leave it at this - Gap is the worst company to ever work for, they care about no one but themselves. Future employees beware.
