After working for Gregg Distributors Please believe me it has to be one of the worst experiences of my whole working life. Not only has Management got fully grown men brown nosing so far up its arse that it stops being funny. A person at Greggs is watched constantly from the time they walk in the door until they walk out at night to go home. Employees are watched when they use the washroom, there is a reward system for employees to snitch on to Management if they see someone doing something they think they should not be doing, its very clicky, if you and your face fits your bonus will reflect this. This is a very true discription of Greggs, if you chose to ignore it and take a job with them, you will live to regret it.

So, if you snitch, do you have to fill up the form for "wasted time", or is it considered work? Is there enough employees at the Edmonton location so that somebody could get a full-time job as a snitch, regardless of what he/she signed on for? They sound like they have bonuses for everything, do they have bonuses for snitches too? Like, I don't know, a trip to Langley (BC) to spy on THOSE employees...? The bonus part being the long nap on the bus trip...? Yeah, I am being sarcastic. My job situation kinda sucks too.

I have encountered a number of fellow employees who felt ill at ease discussing work in any public place, i.e. a restaurant, the mall, etc. for fear of being overheard. Even if they aren't watching you, Gregg's has managed to create a system where employees internalize their surveillance.

I have never ever had anyone monitor my every move in 10 plus years, you know why? because I know why I am there and what my job is an employee. Guess what, the job always gets done at the end of the day, what a great team effort....

After working at Gregg Dist. please believe me, it is one of the best working environments I have ever been in, very fair.
