It's hit or miss whether you get good communication, feedback and leadership from your boss. It's such a big company that the manager of your individual area has much more of a role to play than the corporation itself. That being said, who hires the managers. There really doesn't seem to be a real corporate culture that filters down to the lower level employees. The place is like a maze, and even the new developments seem poorly planned in relation to each other. New buildings going up that cover the windows of the other new buildings, etc. Having said all that, the way departments can help each other by working together to benefit patients can be truly gratifying to be a part of.
