  • There is no such thing as loyalty or respect at this store, individuals that don't bow down or suck up to what is essentially the popular clique is treated as an easy to replace asset. Employer is by the book and all about money, they give no worries to things that may be going on in peoples personal lives and use any tool at their disposal to get rid of employees that don't fit their big picture.

    Beyond that, unless you are in the elite group there is no room for advancement, no chance of a wage increase even tho it is obvious that more is expected from certain people that are actually capable of doing their jobs. People are expected to work at to the best of their abilities, those that are more capable are expected to pick up the slack for those who aren't and are paid the same wage.

    If I could rate less than a star for the vast majority of this I would, only good thing about this job is those that are in the same position, those that have put in their time, actually do their jobs and for some reason put up with the same lousy treatment. This store doesn't realize that their greatest resource is those employees that they treat the most poorly.

employer has a "book" that he has to follow too, clearly you feel rules shouldnt apply to you? wage progression is set out by YOUR union not the owner. The owners are here to run a business not be your friend and make sure you personal life is going as you would like. no cliques, no elite groups just lazy people like you who feel they are entitled. Exit door is at the front of the store if you are this unhappy.
