I'm an ex Nortel employee of 17 years. I thought I would retire at Nortel. Our division based in Ottawa was sold to an European company that is nothing like Nortel used to be. They brought in their own management to replace Nortel's. The atmosphere became poisonous so fast that most who could find a job elsewhere have left.
