• If you like to work for greedy corporations who don’t care about you this is a great place to work. The work itself is fairly easy, but you’ll have to figure it all out on your own as training is incredibly minimal. They will act like they care about you from the start and try to bribe you with a company vehicle and benefits, but you’ll quickly see the inequities of charging clients the highest rate in the industry but paying their staff below market rates. • So glad not to be with this company anymore. While they have great core values and the clients are awesome, the pay rate is the worst. The communication channels is even worse. Didn't keep clients due to their complaints that it got too expensive or they weren't told about the extra charges. Just when I thought I would have a steady client, I would lose them because they couldn't afford it anymore. All the money seems to go towards the call center as well as the upper management. My advice to the clients, go privately just make sure you check for criminal record, references, and first aid/cpr, and you're good to go in keeping a good care giver for a longer term at a much reasonable rate, and it also gives more care givers steady work. With these agency most of the money goes towards a company with a heavy overhead/upper management who don't even have a health care background. There is no gas or public transit compensation and no benefits what so ever. It's just too bad that there are many good care givers who are being taken advantage of for so little.   read complete rating Hide complete rating

• No organization at all in two of the Vancouver Island franchises. They have good brand recognition and low prices which keeps customers flocking to their doors who can't pay a reputable agency. • One of the worst companies I have ever worked for. Incredibly unorganized was put in many scenarios where the client was NOTHING like what I was told. Some of the worst communication I have ever seen. Felt that some clients were suffering because of this (eg not getting the proper medications/doses). Some staff are not qualified especially with regards to medication administration. Made for an extremely stressful few months. • Definitely a fun place to work and you learn a lot. Not your typical office. Feels like a start-up (totally open office environment, air hockey table etc). Owners are awesome.

• This company is very much into management fads, some are ok but most are a waste. They take really good care of senior management, but anyone below that is disposable and may be let go anytime.
