• l'employeur m'a renvoyé après trois mois, ne m'a jamais donné mes relevés de paie, m'a surpayé par accident et m'a demandé de le rembourser malgré mon incapacité de voir mes relevés au moment des paies. • They expect you to be an expert like at the SAQ but they pay you near min wage, my director and assistant manager are some of the hardest workers and as major fidelity yet i heard that for a while they got no raise for years... what does it tell you about employe respect... they have this yearly self assessment document that we must fill and it ask what we did special in 3 questions and what we improved, as if they would legit reconise us beyond a tap in the back from your direct supervision. They expect us to work for the passion of art itself. I do work here because i like it, and im passionate and the customers projects are interesting. But the presure to sell and the impression that we are barely staying afloat and thats why we get no bonus because we dont make our numbers ( that are to do better then last year always)... not nice. A hight management once told me that the fact that i saved 35% on my art supplies shopaholic grinded me badly. Like im taking something like 1/4 of the money you give me and giving it back to you and you still make a huge margin... id rather exchange 20% of that discount for a raise of at least 10%, its not like we work that much anyways we barely have 10-20h per week for months and have a mini rush at school begining and 1 month in december. Also, let me just say that everything is overpriced, event with my discount. I would not work retail minimum wage anywhere else since the ambiance is good, (in my shop, i heard some others are bad) but they need to increase pay, and reconition.   read complete rating Hide complete rating

• Problèmes de direction, de vision, d'adaptation à la réalité du marché d'aujourd'hui et surtout beaucoup de pratiques interdites au niveau des ressources humaines. Culture d'entreprise désuète.

• I think if this company could use free labour, they would. They care that little about Thier employees.
  They make huge efforts to keep wages as low as possible, their benefits are non existent (no vision care at all in a visual art store).
  No wage increases based on performance, everyone gets the same raise.
  They will make employees do double or triple duty working well above their pay level doing jobs they aren't supposed to be doing to avoid hiring new staff when people quit.
  The turn around is unbelievable, a staff staying a year is rare.
  I really could go on and on but there is no point, they are terrible.
  If this site would let me rate them lower I would, but they require me to rate more than one star, deserres deserves 0.   read complete rating Hide complete rating

• Ayant travaillé presque 6 ans pour cette compagnie (et en ayant fait d'autres après) je peux vous dire que cet employeur, sans être excellent, est très bien. Sûr le salaire pourrait être mieux, mais les avantages sociaux (pour les temps pleins) sont à la hauteur et l'ambiance de travail est très bonne.Attendez-vous par contre à devoir mettre vos connaissances à jour régulièrement car le domaine des arts nous fournit constamment de nouveaux produits et ces connaissances sont essentielles...Bref, très bien pour un commerce de détail.   read complete rating Hide complete rating

• Parfaite job étudiante.
  Plus détestable des emplois à temps plein.
  
  L'employeur demande toujours plus pour toujours moins.
  Attentes trop élevée et trop de responsabilités par rapport au salaires.
  
  Inégalité entre les employés.
  À la limite du légale dans la façon dont ils se débarassent de leurs employés.

• Ça va faire bientôt deux ans que je travail à Montréal pour DeSerres et je peux dire que c'est un excellent employeur. Évidemment, comme beaucoup d'autres magasins, le salaire laisse à désirer mais je crois que c'est peu important en comparasion avec l'ambiance qui reigne et les employés qui y travaille. Ce n'est pas une job de chirurgien. Le travail a faire est très simple et c'est bien comme ça.
  
  Les gens du bureau chef ont beaucoup de respect pour les employés et ça parait.
  Cibole, il y en a une qui se souvient du nom de tous les employés de l'île de Montréal. Et ce, même sans name tag.

• After thirty-five years in the work force, I must honestly admit that DeSerres is one of the worst employers I have ever encountered. All incentives have been clawed back. Communication is a joke. They continue to expect more and more effort for less and less recognition and compensation. Despite being told I am one of the company's best employees, I have not had a raise in almost two years. I earn less than $10/hour. I have had to call them on no less than "six" violations of the Ontario Labour code. If I hadn't, they would have continued to abuse unwitting employees. They are a truly despicable employer who enjoys increasing profits at the expense of their employees.   read complete rating Hide complete rating

• L'échec de la France signifie beaucoup de pertes d'emploi à l'interne au Québec. Au lieu de dépenser des millions en Europe pourquoi ne pas investir dans les emplois existants et augmenter la productivité par de nouvelles technologies au lieu de transférer en sous traitance à des compagnies qui vont encore faire perdre des jobs à l'intérieur de l'entreprise.   read complete rating Hide complete rating

• pas de commentaires, mauvais salaires, pas d'augmentations, pas de possbilités d'avancement, pas assez d'heures de travail, pas d'encouragement de la part de l'employeur, stress.

• Entreprise en pleine croissance qui demeure à dimension humaine. Les valeurs du Président sont principalement le respect et le sens de l'équité.
