This organization is a breath of fresh air. I feel at "home" here and would definitely recommend this organization to families who need help for their children with developmental disabilities. They do what they can within the context of the funding that most families access for this service (i.e.: not enough money, not individualized funding). The work schedule is flexible (while sick days are not paid, you can reorganize your schedule so you do not lose the pay), travel time is paid, stat holiday pay is paid (if you qualify), pay scale is consistent with other organizations with room for pay raises annually. They provide a good orientation and ongoing training. It is much better to work for them than to work privately!
