the stress is so high that management turns a blind eye to in office drinking. to the point of an employee receiving a DUI driving home form the office. extreme inter-office communication breakdowns. head of HR is a literal nightmare. clique based culture where nepotism and favoritism are rampant. (ie some staff were not subject to rules that others were.) management has aggressively limited the ability for coworkers to discuss the problems in office with each other let alone with HR to the point of physically inserting themselves into conversations to deter an open conversation about issues, hovering over employees until they are too uncomfortable to continue the conversation, etc. toxic but hey ... they have a private chef so...
