The culture is not good. Turnover is incredibly high. The only people still here that have been here more than a few years are just waiting to retire, or are too scared to leave for fear of retaliation from the partners. Lots of bullying. Complaints are ignored. There is no trained HR person, so HR issues are not dealt with. Too much work than can possibly get done. Pay is lowest in the city for public accounting. Benefits are terrible. No work life balance.

One of the partners says they know 'everyone' in the community and if they find out you are applying for jobs elsewhere, they will make sure you don't get hired anywhere else ever again. It's an empty threat, but some people believe it.
