• Great organization, that focuses on being a positive influence in Canada. Very supportive. Training is ongoing, and help is a phone call, email, or meeting away. The electronics industry is a tough one to be in, but they are probably the nicest ones out there that don't throw their employees in the wild without the tools needed. Approachable, knowledgeable, and effective mangement run the company. Proud to be associated with them. If you're looking for a flexible career, and a way to help people, great organization! • I worked with SONY for over a year and found it a great place to work. We had a great team, great co-workers and I really enjoyed the job. Much better than any other tech company in the area - and I have worked for many of them. I found a full-time job with daytime hours (I have little ones at home) - but I really enjoyed this company, great clients and a great environment. • I work at the electronics design dept as senior engineer. Excellent salary, good working conditions, reasonable work load, business trips to Europe and Japan 3-4 times a year. No layoffs. Very please with Sony as an employer.   read complete rating Hide complete rating

• Dans les prochaines années ils prévoient remplacer beaucoup d'employés par des machines... C'est évident qu'ils n'ont aucune considération pour leurs employés, ils veulent que ce soient des robots. "Tu te la ferme et tu fais ce que l'on te dis" !! Ils n'écoutent pas les idées des employés et même pas ceux de leurs clients! Je crois qu'ils adoptent cette stratégie pour ne pas que les employés puissent monter dans la piramide.

• Super comme compagnie de produits electroniques, très humaine, compréhensive et pas de mise à pied tout le temps comme ailleurs.Promotions sont impossibles. Salaire est ok.

• L'ambiance de travail chez Sony est vraiment exceptionnelle. Les employés sont compétents et intelligents. Tous travaillent fort et ceci a un effet contagieux sur chacun. C'est un environnement de travail très plaisant, le bureau est super bien situé et en plus, le travail est motivant.

• Everyone should move on to their new life and leave employees and management alone. I worked very hard for Sony and would like to stay out of trouble playing with this old shit. • SONY is a good place to work overall.However it is getting tougher because of the cut throat competition in consumer electronics.The margins are not what it used to be in 1980s/1990s.Still better to work here than at the some of the korean or japanese competitors.I plan to stay here as long as possible.

• Sony seems to really try to treat all employees as valuable members of the organization. I know it's a cliche but there really is an effort made to do this. While Sony is a Japanese company it is not really managed that way. It's just like any other North American company. Turn over is low.   read complete rating Hide complete rating
