Been working for starbucks for 4 years and it is definitely in a downhill spiral. the amount of responsibility given vs. the amount you are paid is not worth it at all. you run around like a chicken with you head cut off, catering to generally pretty rude people for minimum wage. its not fun. and the general public seems to come to starbucks to ruin your day because someone else has ruined theirs. nothing the company is doing benefits baristas and supervisors. they want us to push sales to meet targets...so our managers can get a bonus. zero incentive in my opinion.
