Family culture among the corporation. Solid management team. Numerous lateral and advancement opportunities. Scope of work was challenging. Informal work environment, management participation encouraged.

Most of the reviews here are fake, obviously posted by management. Microsoft and RIM are much better praces to work, and have many five star review from honest empoyees on this website. Micosfot and RIM should be better rated that Nokia because they are better companies to work for.

I worked at Motorola in Montreal for more than a few years. During this time I met many great people and learned a lot about telecoms. People do come and go here, turnover is high. Definitely not a place for a long-term carreer. The Motorola of the past is long gone. Too bad.

I'm working with an RFID project and really likes my job. I'm only here on a short term contract and barring a miracle will be gone in 2-3 months. It's most unfortunate that the company does not hire more permanent employees. I would love to work here longer.

Great potential to move up the ranks if you start young. I got a promotion after only 2 years on the job. Good compensation and training. Cutting edge technology.

Good company to work for, though being a subsidiary of a US parent corp has its issues.

Excellent company, in fact the first company I have worked for that treats you with respect. I was a bit reluctant initially cuz it's an American company but it turned out pretty good.

Motorola is the best company I've had the fortune of working for.

As with most companies in this industry though the work hours can become quite extreme at times but the atmosphere is overall very good so it doesn't feel like such a chore. The compensation is also very good and benefits unmatched.

Worst employer ever experienced. Too many mean, picky, rude managers there and you don't have team members (b/c too many rounds of lay offs). hehe. Stay away.... your networking with managers are outweigh your performance. Chatting with them every morning is more important than submitting report timely.

No work/family life balance at all. No overtime pay. Even worse, you don't have time to take...
