Thankfully an ex-Loblaws employee. Terrible place to work, at least at a certain Saint John location. Managers don't respsect the student employees even though the older employees are generally more lazy, and rude. Absolutely no respect for amount of school work, exam time, any other outstanding factors other than "you just dont want to work". Worked there for 3 years and did not get one raise. While being promoted to a cash office employee, that was taken away from me because i was unable to work two nights a week because I had a second job to pay for school. Absolutely terrible three years.
I am also thankfully an ex-employee. Almost everyone I know who has left Loblaws is far happier and often in a more rewarding job. The dysfunctionality starts at the top and it shows no sign of getting better. This company is a sad, pathetic shadow of what it used to be and could have been.
