I have worked for low laws for five years as a supervisor before that I worked for Walmart I would have never left Walmart for lablaws if I had known the way low laws operates for the employees . They treat them like crap no hours and no family life but expect the store to make money. Galan Weston needs to go around and listen to all the stores not just the ones in the big city's the little towns where there is stores line his pockets and bank account also he forgets that.must be nice to sit back and say you care about family god knows we have all heard that before from him haha.must be nice to have a family life.he wants his stores to change get rid of the managers and his assistant managers and all the supervisors that have been around for more the ten years they are the ones that will not change I have seen new people come in and try and change things in the store with the employees to make it a better place but get shot down by the old supervisors and managers that do not want to change and hate the place they work but make good money get rid of those guy's that are poisoning your stores and things might change for the good. The supervisors and managers that have been in the same store to long are making it very hard for the newer employees to like working there. They are really starting to change my attitude for the company and I have only been there five years.they should buy those kind out if you want your stores to change for the best it will only get worst if something does not change .
The managers are doing what they're told to do by the people who have no idea how it is in the real world. I'm not saying that management is good. You get some good, a lot bad. But, what I'm saying is they are doing what they're told to do. Treating their employees like gum underneith their feet is something they choose to do on their own. Take this as you will but, I've unfortunately worked for this now horrible business for 24 years and that's how I see it.
Hmmm.....sounds like the rcwc store I work in. I've been there 3 1/2 yrs and it is a crappy place to work. My supervisor is great, she tries so hard to accomodate the F/E staff and protect us. Unfortunately we are not protected. Our manager is great, asst manager is, well, we won't go there. Our District manager is...well....not nice. She avoids us like the plague and we avoid her. Our hours have been cut, I am lucky to get 10 hours a week, the ones who have been there longer of course get more. We don't have enough staff on, the manager, asst and a couple of supervisors have had to be called to come cashier for us. Brings our store ring time way down, which reflects badly on us. Wages are not the best and our benefits are crap. Our union sold us out on top of it. If I could find another job I would but nothing available at this time in our little town. And to top it all off, rumor has it that we are going to be a NF store as they have downsized our rcwc. So no union and min wage jobs. So to the owner/s, you suck as employers!!!!!
