Many of these reviews are just attempts by a terminated employee to slander the company, repeating the same garbage over and over again. Those of us actually working at the company enjoy extremely good benefits and working conditions, and generally stay with the company a very long time.
Don't know wich cn you work for but any blue collar worker working for this company knows the truth of what it's like here. Expect to be hounded by management all day everyday for more production with limited personnel, if you get injured on the job and if there's any way they will blame the worker and try to fire you. Iv only been here a short time and iv seen it happen countless times. No quality of life what so ever not worth it. Ask anyone you know working for the railroad for a true idea of what it's like instead of this site because management is flooding it with good reviews. Lies.
Excellent review - it is defnitely true that only a very small minority of troublemakers stink up the place and try to create a bad environment. Most of us would be glad to see the last of them, to be honest.
Pretty pathetic when the Co. needs Management to come on this site to boost their corporate image, Comment 1 is right, the company is micro-managed to the max. I was talking to a trainmaster, middle-management, 2nd day on the job, I told him he'd be getting yelled at soon enough, he said he already had been, and I told him the'd have him working 6 -12 hour days...he replied "12 hours, I wish, it was 15 hours yesterday...nice to know they treat the middle-management the same as the unionizd guys...
The same garbage over and over again..C.N., C.N.,C.N.,C.N...HMMM..maybe if there's a recurring theme sounds like there is substance to the negative comments
Looks like some piece of garbage was dumped by the company for cause folks - it sucks to be a reject obsessed with one's former employer!!
Ask a rail that works there, in person.
