safety comes first... right after profits. The company is never at fault... if the ceiling fall on you, you shouldn't have been standing there. CN has perfected "constructive termination". If there is a good rating on here it was one of the bosses posting it or some new hire who has been at CN for 1 month.

Imagine that... a company that is in business to make a profit. How unusual! What a novel concept!

CN is a Canadian institution; you are fortunate to be part of such a legacy!

The turnover rate here is embarrassing. CN, owned by americans, is a complete and total embarrassment to what was once a real, innovative, proud Canadian institution. Just check out CN's career page to see how often they are hiring for the same jobs all over N.A. Its not because of the "crying terminated". It's because the are so messed up they can't keep good people.

just had 7 licensed electrician quit the skill trade department in the last 4 months, pay is way too low for a licensed guys and shifts are unacceptable. This comany is in serious trouble when the skill trade shortage peaks in 2 to 3 years, oh yea that's when most of Cn's workforce is retirering, no locomotive no Cn. Break the bank Cn because you are gonna pay threw the noise for qualified people.

CN regularly removes inferior employees who cause trouble and do nothing productive, which is great for the rest of us.

Turnover is actually very low here at CN - not many employers can match the benefits and salary here.
