I've have worked in the diesel shop for the last 2 years and will not be staying much longer.I have never seen such poor managment skills in my life. I was told i would be going to school to aquire a red sealed trade and have been denyed every time i have asked.I am an apprentice which is really just a glorified labourer since they wont send me to a proper learning facility.I have never seen this much turn over in staff as i have here.They are losing employees as fast as they hire them. As for the person on here who claims they are so good and everyone who disputes them is a disgruntled employee?I assume you are trying to recruite new employees so good luck with that.My friends WILL NOT be applying for your shop.
I'm in the same situation, they dot have enough people to cover any shifts for me to go back to school at all. It's so bad at our spot that if Somone calls in sick they have to scramble to find Somone to work if no one answers the phone their screwed. It's pretty bad hen if one person calls in sick on any given night the place shuts down cant run, the made 3 billion last year and still can't hire some people so that they can give decent training to new hires or some acual sick days or a decent shift schedule instead of Tuesday's wensdaay s off for years n years . People at small line points like me are screwed . No future here , home/work balance is non exsistant.
