The stress level and amount of work they expect from you versus the amount of recognition you get does not even come CLOSE to matching up. And as far as family life? You have none. Your life is the job. Then you retire. The only time I have received constructive feedback is when they haul me in front of a typewriter to give me demerits.

YES, the pay is great. Yes, the benefits are great. But how much are you willing to take before you snap.
